About Us

Welcome to Young Professionals of Hendricks County! We’re all about creating relaxed, enjoyable spaces for young professionals to connect, unwind, and share experiences. Through our social networking events, you’ll find the perfect spot to meet others who are in the same stage of life, whether that means swapping stories over a drink or catching up over good food.

Our focus is simple: offer a place to build friendships, grow your network, and enjoy the company of people who get where you’re coming from. Occasionally, we invite local businesses to share what they do, giving members a peek into what’s happening in the community. Come join us, be yourself, and connect with people who understand the joys and challenges of this stage of life.

Event Operations

aka The Logistics Wizard

Amanda Timm

Amanda is a lifelong Hoosier but has only been a Hendricks County resident for the past three years. She works for the Hendricks Regional Health Foundation doing all things operations and events. She's a proud member of the 2023 (best ever) class of Leadership Hendricks County. In her spare time, she can be found with her nose stuck in a book or getting entirely too animated at a (any!) sporting event. Amanda and her husband Drew live in Brownsburg.

aka The Social Spark

Dani Smith

Dani Smith is the Program Director for Leadership Hendricks County and a big fan of all things nonprofit and community events. When she’s not bringing people together for a great cause, you’ll find Dani out on a backpacking trail, trying out new games (she’s getting into D&D lately!), or planning her next travel adventure. She’s a total foodie who loves tasting any food or drink that’s a little out of the ordinary. At home, Dani has two cats named after Adventure Time characters. Whether it’s outdoors or over a board game, Dani’s all about good vibes, new connections, and a little adventure along the way.
